EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

BRITTANY J. HILLHOUSE


As the Founder and Executive Director at Social Connections, Brittany provides oversight and mentorship to a team of master level cohort students and professionals who provide high-quality behavioral services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Brittany is a seasoned behavior analyst with 20 years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and over 16 years practicing in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Her experience extends past the clinical setting, into the community and the school setting where she taught in a district Autism Program and assisted with the development of the district Autism Statement. Brittany holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, a Master’s degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas A&M University and is currently a PhD student at Baypath University. Brittany is a Texas Certified Teacher (EC-6th Generalist & EC-12th SPED). In addition to the BCBA Certification, she is a Certified Progressive Behavior Analyst- Autism Professional and served on the Progressive Behavior Analyst Certification Committees for both the CPBA-AP (Autism Professional) and CPBA-AS (Autism Supervisor) Certification Committees. Her experience and expertise includes; early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI, curriculum development, behavior analysis training, social skills, Progressive ABA, while working with diverse populations and settings, such as schools, clinics, and homes. She has written and implemented multiple training programs for staff, parents, and teachers, as well as conducted and supervised assessments, interventions, and evaluations. Her core competencies include analytical skills, training skills, leadership skills, and communication skills. Her mission is to conduct research in the area of Progressive ABA, while serving as a mentor for upcoming behavior analysts seeking to provide high quality services to the individuals at Social Connections.

DANISA JUNE GARCIA


Danisa Garcia is practicing as the Behavior Analyst at Social Connections Learning Center, where she completed her Supervision Fieldwork under the Supervision of Social Connections Executive Director, Brittany Hillhouse. Danisa oversees Social Connections direct services and implements a Progressive Approach to Behavior Analytical services with mentorship from the Executive Director. Danisa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with four years of experience practicing in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University and completed her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College.

Her experience consists of working with children and families across the clinical and community setting, providing evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful skill development and improve quality of life. 

Her passions include collaborating with families to create meaningful, socially significant outcomes. As a growing clinician and leader, she strives to support Social Connections clients, train and guide behavior therapists, and contribute positively to the field of behavior analysis.
